Recycled CD Case Earrings
TweetTalk about putting the “jewel” into “jewelry”! One of the entrants in Inhabitat’s Spring Greening contest sent us photos of her recycled crystal jewelry, made from—quelle surprise—discarded CD jewel cases. Sliced, etched, and strung up with sterling-silver findings, the notoriously difficult-to-recycle plastic is unrecognizable in the best possible way—like a post-Henry Higgens Eliza Doolittle, without the deadbeat dad or milquetoast suitor.
